I’m going in for a sleep study tomorrow night. My last one was nearly three years ago when they found out I had sleep apnea. The CPAP machine has helped tremendously, but I haven’t been able to update the equipment like I should because it was too expensive. With Medicare now, I can but they want to make sure things haven’t changed over time.

Also, I’ve recently been having actual seizures in my dreams – I go down twisting with spasms and everything, and whoever is around me reacts. The thing is, I’ll be having them in real life without waking up (well, during a good ‘kick to the stomach,’ I’ll wake up just enough to realize I was in a dream, but then I go right back into REM – the same dream, in fact, and continue the seizure), so when I do awaken in the morning, I’m good and sore.

My doctor is curious if my old leaky CPAP hose and possibly changed apnea conditions are contributing to this, hence the sleep study. So that’s where I’ll be kickin’ it Friday night!
