Rubber
I’ve never laughed so hard at a tire in my life! I kept seeing this on Netflix and thought it was a documentary or something, until I read the little summary that it was about a tire with super powers, and it rolls around blowing up bunnies ‘n’ shit.
This things is epic. Anyone else seen it?
Wet dreams
Have you ever had a dream that you took a long shower, and afterward did your usual routine of brushing your hair, your teeth, applying deodorant, body spray, etc, only to wake up and realize you’re still stinky with itchy bed head and yuck mouth?
Then you’re like, “Ack! I have to do all that again?”

Health update – great news!
I just got back from the blood doc and all is well on that front! My levels are in great shape, no problems – YAY!
That still leaves the question of what happened a few months back but perhaps there was something that hit me and was gone before they could catch it (I dunno). Anyway, I’m healthy now!
I’ll always have good ol’ Conversion Disorder, though. In fact, on the way home, I had a seizure that nailed just my right arm, but every single muscle in it. It curled up before I knew what hit me and was locked that way for several minutes. It still hurts like hell so I’m getting off of here for now. I just wanted to let everyone know the good news! Woohoo!
lol, when we got home, both of our dogs were hiding in the bathroom because we have Amish folks working on the roof. They didn’t know what to think of all the stomping around while we were gone. Poor things. They’re feeling nice and brave with us home!
Thanks for the Birthday Wishes!
I just wanted to thank everyone on Facebook and everywhere else for all the birthday wishes! I turned 37 today, yay! Yesterday, my mother took us to eat Chinese, which was awesome.
Fun fact, I was a breech baby, born one foot first with the other tucked under. There was a joke back then that I was hanging out with the stork too long. Also, my very first B-day gift was a beer with a bow on top. I still have it!
Back then, I looked like this:

Hail from last Wednesday
I’m just now getting around to posting this, but we had a fast thunderstorm sweep through last Wednesday night that dropped quarter-sized hail on us. It sounded like baseballs pounding our roof! The noise from that and the tornado alarm going off gave me a hell of a seizure but luckily it blew on through and there was no damage to our house.
I took some pictures of our back deck afterward and a few pieces of hail:

The next day, my mother dropped by to take Robin to the dentist, and she said there was a rancher just south of us who had bought $80,000 worth of cattle that day, and during the storm, a tornado dropped down, taking his house, his mother’s house, and every cow. The people were safe but the cattle were up and gone! They may have found some bodies by now, I don’t know – for all I know, they’re in Oz.
But that’s terrible news for that poor guy.
Bear takes the Nestea plunge!
This is awesome. Check out the article HERE.
Someone filmed a bear falling safely from a tree after being tranquilized, so they could move it to a safer place.

Joe R. Lansdale featured on Oprah!
One of our KHP authors, the excellent Joe R. Lansdale, was recently featured on Oprah.com! Bill Paxton, star of Aliens, Near Dark, Twister, and the new miniseries, Hatfield & McCoys, recommended Lansdale’s book The Bottoms HERE!
Be sure to check it out if you haven’t, and you also can’t go wrong with his Black Death Books title, Deranged By Choice.
